Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains what information EDI Connections collects through ediconnections.com and its Admin, Client and Trading Partner portals, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When your company or a team member is set up on the platform, we collect names, business email addresses, phone numbers, job roles and company details such as addresses and locations.

Business documents

We process the documents you and your trading partners exchange through the platform, such as purchase orders, acknowledgments, ship notices and invoices, along with item catalogs and connection settings. These documents belong to you; we process them only to provide the service.

Website and sign-in activity

When you visit our website or portal sign-in pages, we record the page you requested, the referring page, your browser's user agent and your IP address. We use the IP address to estimate a general location (country, region and city). When you sign in, we record the attempt, its result and the same technical details, to protect accounts from misuse.

2. How we use it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business documents for advertising.

3. How we share it

4. Cookies

The portals use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It ends when you sign out, when your session is idle for 30 minutes, or when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Retention

We keep account information and documents for as long as your company uses the service and afterwards as needed to meet legal, accounting and audit obligations, or as agreed in your service agreement. Website and sign-in activity records are kept for security and analysis.

6. Security

We protect information with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, separate portals with per-company data isolation and activity logging. See our Security page for details. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.

7. Your choices

You can view and update your profile in your portal. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, contact us. If your account was set up by your company, we may refer your request to your company's administrator. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or to keep records of documents already exchanged.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify account administrators.
